G430 Drivers

In the new drivers, PING’s engineering team developed several new technologies common to all three models while applying specific advancements to each individual head, producing measurable ball-speed gains while improving sound throughout the series. The added ball speed is attributed to a shallower and thinner VFT forged face design engineered with Spinsistency, a variable roll radius technology proven on the G425 fairway woods and hybrids. The improved and pleasing sound is the result of fine-tuning the frequencies of the head through a new internal rib structure.

The MAX is still the MAX

The MAX (460cc) remains the most forgiving and fits the widest range of golfers. A 25-gram, high-density tungsten moveable backweight influences shot shape ±10 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. Available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts. Loft is adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard using the 8-setting Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel.

Introducing the LST with CarbonFly Wrap Technology

Exclusive to the LST (Low Spin Technology) driver is Carbonfly Wrap, a lightweight composite that covers the crown and wraps into the heel/toe sections of the skirt to save weight and lower the CG for more ball speed, less spin and higher MOI. The 8-layer, one-piece composite saves four grams and weighs 11.5g fully installedA moveable 22-gram, high-density tungsten backweight influences shot shape ±7 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. At 440cc, the smaller tour-style LST is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts (adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard) and best fits faster swing speeds.

THE NEXT GENERATION OF SPEED.

Starting with our biggest distance jump in the speed-inducing driver and completing the set with our longest iron ever,we’ve achieved our most significant performance gains ever across every club in the new G430 family. Take it from our pros, who changed to the new G430 driver in record numbers its first week on tour, complimenting the faster ball speed and pleasing sound for the quick and easy transition.Relying on new innovations and proven technologies, distance is way up across the new family, forgiveness remains unequalled, and the sound is music to your scorecard — leading to lowerscores and a lot more enjoyment on the course.

Swing faster. Score lower.

You might be swinging a club that’s too heavy, meaning you’re not generating sufficient clubhead speed and ballvelocity to hit the ball as far as you’d like with consistency. Introducing the G430 HL (High Launch) build, anew full-set custom option for slower-swing-speed golfers. Custom engineered with lighter head weights, shaftsand grips, the overall system is lighter so you’ll swing faster and generate more ball speed for higher-launching,longer-carrying shots across the entire set.

When you’ve earned the reputation as the game’s most forgiving driver that also ranks as one of the longest, the next step is obvious:You make it longer. So we did, by engineering a new face-design optimization that leads to increased face flexing, producing thefaster ball speeds that generate consistently longer, accurate tee shots from three custom-fit models: G430 MAX, SFT (straight flight) and LST (low spin).

Optimized T9S+ Forged Face

A shallower, variable-thickness face is thinner for generating faster ball speed for our biggest distance gains to date.

Carbonfly Wrap

Exclusive to the 440cc LST is Carbonfly Wrap, a lightweight composite that covers the crown and wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt to save weight and lower the CG for more ball speed and higher MOI.

Sound Engineering

A new internal rib structure and increased curvature of the crown, skirt and sole fine-tunes clubhead frequencies to produce a desirable sound and impact experience.

Contributing to the added ball speed is a variable roll radius that improves performance across the T9s+ forged face by reducing spin, resulting in faster speeds that generate consistently longer drives.

CG Shifters

In the MAX, a 25-gram, high-density tungsten backweight influences shot shape ±8 yards between Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. The LST (low spin) model provides ±7 yards of movement from a 22-gram tungsten weight in the three settings.

Straight Flight Technology

New to the SFT head is a moveable, 22-gram, tungsten backweight that positions the CG to deliver 13 yards of right-to-left shot bend in the Draw setting and another 7 yards in the Draw+ (20 yards total).

Forgiving Heads

Each of the models is engineered to ensure added distance and forgiveness for a variety of skill levels. The MAX (460cc) is the most forgiving and fits the widest range of golfers with three loft options (9°, 10.5°, 12°). The SFT (460cc) produces right-to-left shot correction in one loft (10.5°). At 440cc, the smaller tour-style LST is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts and best fits faster swing speeds.

Adjust Loft, Lie

To customize ball flight, Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilizes a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleevethat provides eight positions, adjusting for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.).

G430 HL (High Launch) Build

In comparison testing, slower-swing-speed golfers gained an average of nine yards off the tee from faster ball speed generated by the lighter system weight of the HL custom build (11g backweight, lightweight PING ALTA Quick shaft, Lamkin UTx grip). Available in the MAX and SFT only.

PING-Engineered Shafts

The PING ALTA CB Black offers mid-to-high launch, the PING Tour 2.0 Chrome mid launch, and the PING Tour 2.0 Black promotes the lowest trajectory. The PING ALTA Quick is for high launch from slower swing speeds.

Optional Shafts

The Project X Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX provides a higher launch, the Mitsubishi Kai’Li White launches lower.
